The purpose of The Ohio R&B Music Festival is to celebrate the past, present and future of Ohio R&B and acknowledge the hard work and creativity that the state’s artists have contributed to the artistic culture statewide and abroad.

DAY 1 - FESTIVAL SHOWCASE

A stellar lineup of talented performers from around the state will grace the stage, ready to captivate the audience with their unique gifts and artistry.

DAY 2 - THE SOUL DOPE AWARDS

A traditional awards show is set to honor the exceptional talents in Ohio's vibrant R&B music scene. Attendees can anticipate electrifying performances, heartfelt tributes paying homage to our musical legends, and a celebration of the soulful sounds that enrich our community.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Artist must be a native of/or a current resident (one year minimum) in Ohio 

  • Eligible music genres: R&B

  • RELEASE PERIOD: MUSIC RELEASED BETWEEN JAN 2023 AND MAY 2024 IS ELIBLE FOR NOMINATION

    *Best New Artist-  Artist must have established themselves publicly within two years of the eligibility year and have released a minimum of three singles and one album
